This role involves ensuring the operational integrity of critical wastewater infrastructure, including pumping stations, sewage treatment plants, and special structures. The primary responsibilities encompass the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electro-technical systems, focusing heavily on measurement, control, regulation, and process control technology (MSR/PLC, telemetry). Daily tasks include fault analysis, switch cabinet construction, wiring, performing safety inspections (DGUV-Vorschriften), optimizing existing systems, and meticulous documentation of work and schematics. Candidates should possess a professional electrical qualification (e.g., Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician), strong knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology, and basic familiarity with PLC programming tools like TIA Portal and WinCC is desirable. This is a permanent, future-proof position offering high self-responsibility, continuous training, and participation in essential public services, requiring mandatory participation in on-call duty approximately 10 weeks per year.
