Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as an IT Specialist within the Central Services/Information Technology department of the City of Flensburg focuses primarily on IT Customer Support and user management. The specialist will be responsible for 1st Level Support, including handling calls, performing problem analysis, classification, and documentation within the ticketing system, and managing escalations. Key tasks involve remote maintenance, on-site repairs at approximately 50 locations, installing standard technology, and performing service orders such as setting up and dismantling PC workstations. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) and demonstrate strong experience in IT support, excellent communication skills, and comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, VLAN, WLAN) and data security.
