Job Summary

The IoT Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of robust IoT solutions and architectures within the Technology Enabled Solutions team, focusing on data acquisition and processing for applications across marine, rail, industrial, and power generation sectors. Day-to-day tasks involve optimizing communication protocols, ensuring application security and scalability, integrating hardware components, and implementing interfaces. A key responsibility is managing the AWS IoT Cloud platform and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), preferably Terraform. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, possesses multi-year experience in IoT and embedded systems development, and has deep expertise in Linux kernel development and shell scripting.
