Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a (Junior) Data Scientist to join the Data Science & BI Team at CHECK24, a market-leading comparison portal, focusing on Internet and telecommunications services. The core responsibility involves the end-to-end development and integration of Machine Learning models, including systems for ranking, recommendations, fraud detection, and innovative operator use cases utilizing AI. Day-to-day tasks include managing training workflows using MLOps frameworks (like MLflow), collaborating closely with developers and product managers, and proactively identifying and implementing cutting-edge AI approaches, such as NLP and generative AI (e.g., LLMs/Transformers), into tangible product features. The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in a quantitative field and practical experience with the Python Data Science stack, deep learning frameworks, and a clear focus on delivering measurable impact through statistical problem-solving.
