Job Summary

This role offers the unique opportunity to support the establishment of an artillery rocket motor plant in Unterlüß, Germany. The Master of Quality Inspection / NDT will be instrumental in building the production team, overseeing personnel selection, onboarding, and qualification, particularly focusing on X-ray technology implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the commissioning of X-ray equipment, managing full or sample inspections of manufactured parts using radiographic testing, and ensuring compliance with standards. Furthermore, the role involves significant personnel management, including staffing and deployment planning for shift operations, creating duty rosters based on employee qualifications, and fine-tuning order planning regarding capacity and deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess technical training, a Master/Technician qualification, NDT certification (Level 2/3), and extensive leadership experience in a production environment focusing on nondestructive testing.
