Job Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced Automation Technician or SPS Programmer passionate about maritime technology and industrial applications, specifically within steel hydraulic engineering and marine technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include the creation and modification of SPS programs and user interfaces, independent commissioning, and optimization of systems both internally and at customer sites. The role also involves standardization of SPS programs, contributing to innovative new developments, and ensuring quality and compliance with current guidelines and standards. Key qualifications include a strong background in electrical engineering and expertise in Siemens Step7 and TIA Portal. The position offers a dynamic, family-oriented work environment within the HYDAC Group, focusing on complex, customized complete solutions for water-based projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed minimum 3-year specialized vocational training in Electrical Engineering or completed minimum 2-year specialized training as a State-Certified Technician
Experience
- Professional experience in SPS programming and control systems
- Experience in plant engineering (Desirable)
- Long-term professional experience in electrical engineering (if possessing a 3-year vocational qualification)
