Job Summary

This crucial role as a Senior Atlassian Administrator, based in Würzburg, involves managing and evolving the highly complex IT system landscape for Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, Germany's largest pension insurance provider. The administrator will join the Community Services team, responsible for ensuring the secure and stable operation and continuous development of central Jira and Confluence instances used across the organization. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing the deployment of Atlassian products, implementing new IT services, monitoring system performance, and providing expert cross-functional consulting to various departments on application scenarios. Candidates must possess multiple years of IT experience, specifically with the installation, configuration, or customization of Jira or Confluence, coupled with proficiency in Linux operating systems (ideally RHEL) and practical scripting skills (Shell, Python, JCL) and SQL. The position requires fluent German and English skills and offers the opportunity to contribute to a foundational pillar of German social security.
