Job Summary

This role involves serving as the key Information Security Officer for the State Criminal Police Office (Landeskriminalamt) in Saxony, contributing to public safety by ensuring robust information security practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising the head of the department on security matters, developing and implementing security policies and concepts, assessing security-relevant permissions, and identifying and analyzing potential security vulnerabilities. The officer will also audit information security measures related to the development of IT infrastructure, advise on new IT system introductions, and manage IuK (Information and Communication) emergency/BCM procedures. Key qualifications include a university degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field, strong knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz standards (ISO 27000ff), and experience in network administration and project management. This is a permanent, crisis-proof position offering meaningful work within a critical public sector organization.
