Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a Quality Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Metrology to join a team in Donauwörth. The role is central to ensuring product quality through advanced planning and measurement techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing APQP core tools (SPC, MSA, Control Plan) and supporting PFMEA, while acting as a crucial interface between Manufacturing and Design Engineering. A significant part of the job involves specialized metrology work, such as interpreting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, selecting and validating measurement methods, and creating complex inspection plans and instructions. The ideal candidate will also analyze measurement databases, identify root causes of defects, and define corrective actions using statistical methods. This position requires a professional background in manufacturing, strong knowledge of quality methods, and fluency in both German and English.
