Job Summary
As a Process Engineer in Surface Technology at the Kempten (Allgäu) location, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing coating processes, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and implementing procedures for new product launches, analyzing and modifying existing processes to improve efficiency and quality, and leading quality assurance initiatives using tools like Pareto, PDCA, 8D, and Six Sigma. You will also conduct root cause analyses for complaints and support technical communication with customers, providing expert advice on coating-related issues. This role requires a strong background in chemical engineering, surface technology, or materials science, coupled with expertise in surface finishing, particularly electroplating. Fluency in both German and English is essential, along with analytical thinking, a structured approach, and a high degree of initiative.

Experience
- Professional experience in defining manufacturing standards and analytical procedures
- Experience in developing and implementing procedures for new series production launches
- Experience in investigating, evaluating, and modifying processes for efficiency, economy, and quality improvement
- Experience in initiating, planning, and executing preventive quality assurance measures
- Experience in root cause analysis and defining corrective actions for complaints
