Job Summary

The Deutsche Bahn is seeking a dedicated District Manager for Telecommunications to oversee infrastructure assets within the entire Asset and Maintenance Management (AIM) sector in Berlin. This role is critical for ensuring safe, punctual, and economical rail operations by managing the functionality and security of assigned telecommunication systems. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring demand- and requirement-based maintenance, commissioning and supervising construction measures, conducting system inspections, and managing documentation. The successful candidate will also assume technical leadership for district employees and manage budget responsibilities, including cost center and personnel planning. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Automation Technology, or an IHK Master certification, along with strong knowledge of telecommunications technology and a willingness to acquire the District Manager qualification.
