Job Summary
This temporary position (until September 2027) as a Textile Lab Technician supports the IDEAL Automotive Group, a key system supplier to the automotive industry, at their Oelsnitz/V. location. Key responsibilities include planning and executing comprehensive physical, chemical, and technological tests on textile raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products. The technician will meticulously log and evaluate test results, generate detailed test reports, and ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Success in this role requires a strong quality focus, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to collaborate closely with production, development teams, and external laboratories. Candidates should possess formal training in textile or chemical laboratory work, or a comparable technical qualification.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Textile Laboratory Technician, Chemical Laboratory Technician with textile knowledge, or comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in textile technology and testing procedures (desirable)
- Experience in maintaining and calibrating testing equipment
- Experience working collaboratively with production and development teams
