Job Summary

This Senior Data Engineer role is situated within one of Europe's leading software houses, headquartered in Nuremberg, focusing on advancing technological innovation and digital transformation. The primary responsibilities include the continuous development, maintenance, and testing of near-realtime data pipelines, applying established software and data engineering principles. A key focus is on providing and managing the necessary infrastructure for data consumers and Machine Learning models, encompassing full ML Engineering support. Candidates are expected to technically integrate heterogeneous systems and optimize development processes through robust CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps practices. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science and possesses deep experience with Python, Apache Spark (ideally Databricks), advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts like Terraform.
