Job Summary

This role involves acting as the crucial link between development and application, primarily focusing on the programming and maintenance of high-precision CNC grinding machine controls. Day-to-day tasks include independent PLC programming using CoDeSys within the NUM FlexiumSuite, configuring the NUM FlexiumPlus 68 NC control, and designing/parameterizing NUM DriveX servo drives for highly dynamic 5-axis applications. A key component of the role is providing active service support, including remote troubleshooting and on-site commissioning and fault analysis for international clients, requiring occasional worldwide travel. Candidates must possess a background in electrical or automation engineering, profound knowledge of NUM control systems (Flexium/Flexium+), and professional experience in machine tool construction, ideally within CNC grinding.
