Job Summary

This role involves working as a Civil and Environmental Engineer within the municipal development department of the Schöneck municipality, focusing on essential infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, tendering, and supervision of civil engineering measures, including sewer and road construction, and managing the municipal wastewater treatment plant, canal, and road networks. Key duties include maintaining the wastewater cadastre, preparing annual wastewater reports (EKVO), and coordinating external engineering firms and contractors. The position requires a degree in civil engineering or municipal water management, strong knowledge of relevant German construction regulations (VOB, UVgO, HWG, EKVO), and proficiency in MS Office, ideally with experience in GIS, CAD, and tendering software.
