Job Summary
This expert role focuses on elevating the client's IT infrastructure by consulting, planning, and optimizing Linux-based systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring a stable and secure system environment, leading IT operations processes, and driving technological innovation. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing security policies for Linux systems and automating system administration using modern tools like Ansible and Terraform, alongside scripting languages. Furthermore, the role involves managing interfaces between various IT applications and supporting change management processes within the organization. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Linux server administration. Success requires deep technical knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux, Git, ITIL, and fundamental understanding of network technologies (DNS, segmentation), coupled with fluent communication skills in both German and English (C1 level).
