Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious Specialist in Export Compliance and Hazardous Goods Management to join a leading European technology services platform. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and building the material database within SAP, ensuring accurate classification of sales items, spare parts, and components according to customs tariffs and export control regulations (including EAR, ITAR, ECCN, and CCL). Daily tasks involve communicating with manufacturers to clarify material usage and technical specifications, coordinating with German authorities like Customs (Zoll) and BAFA for binding tariffs and goods list information, and collaborating with internal project teams. A key component of the role is the classification and monitoring of hazardous goods according to road, sea, and air transport regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Engineering Science or a comparable qualification, strong experience in material and customs classification, excellent SAP/ERP skills, and fluency in German alongside good English proficiency.
