Job Summary

This role involves driving development projects from the initial concept phase through to series production readiness. The Design Engineer will be responsible for constructing prototype and experimental setups in a laboratory environment, followed by rigorous testing and validation. A key part of the job includes proactively developing innovative proposals and assessing their feasibility and potential benefits. Day-to-day tasks also cover the maintenance, optimization, and cost reduction of existing products. Success in this position requires a structured and analytical approach, strong problem-solving skills for independent troubleshooting and solution development, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in product development and management. Candidates must possess a technical degree or technician qualification and have solid experience utilizing Solid Edge CAD software, coupled with fluent German language skills.
