The Development Engineer will join interdisciplinary, international teams, taking ownership of projects from the initial concept phase through simulation and testing, up to final product introduction. Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and evaluating comprehensive tests on high-power laser systems for EUV lithography or fiber lasers. You will also be responsible for modeling and simulating optical system properties, potentially utilizing tools like Matlab or Python. Success in this role requires a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant engineering or physics discipline, coupled with several years of practical experience in optics, laser physics, or optical metrology. Close collaboration with production, service, and customers is essential for resolving complex technical challenges and developing innovative solutions.
