Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Security Specialist who will act as a consultant, safeguarding the company's hosting infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. Key responsibilities include evaluating, selecting, and implementing modern IT security tools and solutions. The specialist will conduct and analyze vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to proactively identify risks. Furthermore, the role involves advising IT project teams on implementing security requirements in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards like ISO 27001 and BSI-Grundschutz. A critical component is active participation in Incident Response Management, collaborating closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to effectively handle security incidents. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in security technologies, attack mitigation, and strong communication skills to convey complex security topics to various audiences.
