Customs and Export Control Specialist | Zollsachbearbeiter Exportkontrolle (w/m/d)

Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Customs and Export Control Specialist responsible for ensuring strict compliance with international trade regulations. Daily tasks involve monitoring and processing SAP GTS blocks, meticulously checking critical orders for material properties, classifications, end destination, and end-use. You will be responsible for issuing order releases, utilizing license exceptions or existing permits, and managing the electronic application and maintenance of export licenses within SAP GTS. A significant part of the role includes preparing comprehensive documentation for license applications, coordinating information flow across internal and external partners, and handling customs-specific inquiries regarding incomplete export declarations. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree in Foreign Trade or Customs Law, or equivalent long-term professional experience, coupled with extensive knowledge of Foreign Trade and Export Control Law, comprehensive SAP GTS skills, and fluent English proficiency.
