Job Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional seeking a varied and challenging position within KiTa Bremen, the largest childcare provider in the region. The Administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of the organization's centralized IT infrastructure, supporting approximately 550 internal users across 92 locations. Key daily tasks include system administration, planning and expanding the complex IT environment, managing Windows Server and VMware vSphere landscapes, and administering Citrix Virtual Apps. The successful candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or vocational training as an IT Specialist with at least three years of experience, coupled with excellent knowledge of Active Directory, modern Windows operating systems, and MS Office suites. This position offers a stable public service contract (TVöD EG 11) and the opportunity to contribute new ideas within a highly collaborative and innovative team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science (Bachelor, FH/University Diploma, Master) OR Vocational training as an IT Specialist with a focus on System Integration
Experience
- Professional experience in planning, expanding, and developing IT environments
- Professional experience operating and managing complex server landscapes
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience (required if possessing vocational training instead of a degree)
