Job Summary

This role involves providing essential technical and maintenance support within the Central Property Management team for municipal properties, including event venues, schools, and sports facilities. The successful candidate will act as part of the caretaker team, performing general janitorial duties, ensuring the operational readiness of technical building systems (heating, ventilation, sanitation), and monitoring the structural condition of buildings and grounds. Key responsibilities include conducting maintenance and repair work, coordinating external contractors, preparing venues for events, and performing seasonal outdoor maintenance like groundskeeping and winter services. This position requires a strong technical understanding, proven manual skills, and reliability. Candidates must have a completed vocational training in a skilled trade and several years of relevant professional experience are highly desirable. A Class B driver's license is mandatory, as is participation in on-call duty outside regular hours.
