Job Summary
This role involves leading a small team responsible for the seamless operation of a fully automated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line. The Team Leader will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating assembly, soldering, and inspection systems, including Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. Key daily tasks include technical leadership, deployment planning, material flow coordination, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance/repair work on the production lines. Candidates must possess a technical background, extensive experience in SMT/THT assembly, and strong knowledge of programming and setting up SMT lines. This is a crucial position driving process optimization, staff training, and ensuring high-quality electronic manufacturing processes.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training, such as Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Electrician, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in SMT and THT assembly, ideally in electronics manufacturing
- Experience with setting up, equipping, and programming SMT assembly lines
- Experience with AOI systems (programming, evaluation, error analysis)
- Experience in leading a small team (technical leadership and deployment planning)
