Job Summary
This role involves working within the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure department of the Heusenstamm municipal administration, focusing on sustainable 'Blue-Green' urban drainage and infrastructure projects. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing construction measures related to the statutory requirements for self-monitoring regulations (EKVO) within the municipal wastewater network. Key duties include organizing the evaluation of sewer TV inspections, defining rehabilitation scope and procedures in collaboration with external engineering firms, and managing construction projects in the role of the client. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Water Management, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering) or a comparable qualification, possesses strong knowledge of relevant regulations, and is proficient in MS Office, AVA (Orca), and GIS (Ingrada) software. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Specialization in Water Management, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering), Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), Diploma Engineer (Dipl. Ing.), State-certified Technician (Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Environmental Technology), or Master Craftsman (Civil Engineering)
Experience
- Professional experience in Civil Engineering or related fields (desirable)
- Experience as a certified sewer rehabilitation consultant (desirable)
- Experience in managing construction projects and coordinating external partners
- Experience in applying relevant technical regulations and standards
