Job Summary

This role involves end-to-end embedded hardware development for Elbit Systems Deutschland, an international company specializing in modern defense and security technology. The developer will be crucial in requirements analysis and conceptualizing electronic modules, independently designing robust hardware architectures, and selecting suitable electronic components (CPUs, SoCs, FPGAs, and power supplies) based on technical and economic factors. Key responsibilities include implementing schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer, ensuring strict compliance with EMC, DFM, and DFT criteria. The position requires a completed degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering and proven experience in embedded design, electronic simulation (e.g., SPICE), and measurement technology. You will work closely with adjacent disciplines like mechanics, software, and FPGA teams, supporting the commissioning, testing, and documentation of development results before production transfer. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Ulm, offering a dynamic environment and flexible work models.
