Job Summary
This role is ideal for a dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant interested in actively contributing to environmental protection within the Kitzingen municipal sewage plant. The position involves the independent operational analysis of wastewater and sludge samples, ensuring compliance with self-monitoring regulations (EÜV). Day-to-day tasks include evaluating and documenting analysis results, performing activated sludge microscopy, and maintaining online process measuring devices. The role also requires managing procurement for the lab, updating work instructions, and handling hazardous material documentation. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification, strong technical understanding, and the ability to work independently and reliably. Experience in municipal sewage treatment laboratory environments is highly advantageous. This is a one-year, fixed-term, part-time position (19.5 hours/week) offering flexible working hours and comprehensive training.
