Job Summary

This permanent role involves managing and executing electrical engineering projects for state and federal construction measures within the State Building Management Weser-Leine region. The specialist will be responsible for comprehensive project management, including quality, schedule, and cost control, particularly for building maintenance and new construction projects across all phases (LPH 1-9 HOAI). Key responsibilities include steering external engineering firms, planning, preparing, reviewing tenders, supervising construction, and handling billing for planning and construction services. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology or be a certified technician with extensive relevant experience, coupled with strong organizational, communication, and economic understanding. Fluency in German (C1 level) and knowledge of construction regulations like VOB and HOAI are essential for success in this demanding public sector role.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) / Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field, OR State-certified Technician qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in collaborating on and leading construction projects
  • Experience in cost and schedule control for construction projects
  • Experience in steering independent specialist engineering offices/freelancers
  • Long-term professional experience in electrical engineering (required for certified technicians)
