Job Summary
The Environmental Engineer will join the Environment department at John Deere's largest European plant in Mannheim, focusing on maintaining a legally compliant and John Deere-compliant operational organization concerning environmental protection. Key daily tasks include reviewing, optimizing, and implementing environment-relevant processes, advising production and management on environmental issues, and coordinating external service providers, waste disposal companies, and experts. This role is crucial for managing air pollution control, water and soil protection (including contaminated site management), and waste and hazardous materials management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Environmental Management or a related field, possesses professional experience in the EHS/HSE sector, and is proficient in German and English.
