Job Summary

This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated automation and control concepts for industrial plants, primarily based in Cologne. Key responsibilities include the independent project planning and programming of various PLC and DCS systems, creating electrical documentation focusing on control, drive, and instrumentation (MSR) technology, and coordinating technical details with internal panel builders. The ideal candidate will conduct testing, commissioning, and support on-site customer acceptance, serving as the primary technical contact for stakeholders. Qualifications require a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or equivalent technical certification, coupled with very strong knowledge of PLC and MSR technology, good English, and fluent German skills.
