Job Summary

This role involves operating and monitoring various video platforms within the IPTV Master Headend for a leading German media backbone operator. The specialist will be responsible for the continuous surveillance of all incoming and outgoing broadcast signals, ensuring quality control of video, audio, and metadata signals using appropriate measurement technology. Key daily tasks include responding to error messages from management systems, independently executing emergency switching during failures, and communicating with signal suppliers and customers during disruptions. Candidates must have a background in broadcast, communication, or electrical engineering, coupled with professional experience in technical services, particularly in Broadcast Signal Technology, DVB, and IT System Technology. This position requires a high degree of commitment, analytical skills, and the flexibility to work in a 24/7 three-shift system (Munich) or a two-shift system (Nuremberg), demanding fluency in German and good English skills.
