Job Summary

Join UTA Edenred, a key player in European professional mobility, to drive digital transformation as an RPG/SQL Developer. This full-time role involves developing and enhancing custom RPG/SQL software on modern, highly available IBM Power i systems, including mirrored LPAR partitions. You will be responsible for implementing expansion and maintenance projects for internal and external clients, analyzing business requirements, and ensuring stable data flows from input through billing and output. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or training in IT, multiple years of experience developing on IBM Power i, and expertise in RPG (from II to FreeRPG), CL, and SQL. Proficiency in IBM DB2 for i, database design, and familiarity with development tools like IBM RDI, Jira, and Confluence are essential. This role requires fluent German and English skills and offers the chance to work within structured software architectures, developing and maintaining interfaces, Web Services, and APIs.

Completed vocational training or university degree with a focus on Information Technology

Experience

  • Multiple years of experience in development on IBM Power i
  • Professional experience with Triggers, Stored Procedures, Service Programs, and Copy Routes
  • Routine use of development and collaboration tools
  • Understanding of internal customer needs and ticketing processes (beneficial)
