Job Summary
The Technical University of Rosenheim is seeking a Laboratory Technician/Research Assistant to support the Faculty of Computer Science, focusing on autonomous mobile systems. This is a part-time (50% of full-time hours) and permanent position. The role involves the implementation, testing, and evaluation of algorithms and software tools for robotics, sensor technology, and automation, utilizing tools like ROS, Python, or C/C++. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and administering robotics hardware, providing technical and organizational support for lectures and practical courses in Computer Science degree programs, and setting up and documenting experimental setups for teaching and research. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, possesses experience with robotics or embedded systems, and is proficient in both German and English (minimum B1 level).
