Job Summary

The SBI Group is seeking an experienced Data Scientist and Applied Machine Learning Expert to join their team in Eschborn (Frankfurt/Main). This role involves developing and implementing advanced ML algorithms and prototypes to solve real-world business challenges, focusing on areas like inventory forecasting, sales analysis, and quality assurance, particularly within the Food Service and Retail sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing structured and unstructured data (POS, ERP, IoT), implementing models into software products using modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and continuously monitoring and improving model performance in production. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, possesses strong programming skills in Python, and is proficient with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras) and data visualization tools (Power BI).
