Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer or physicist passionate about high-precision optical systems, focusing on the conception, realization, and stabilization of custom continuous-wave (CW) laser systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include system planning, integration, testing, and comprehensive documentation, alongside managing project timelines and resources in collaboration with internal leadership. A key part of the role involves integrating and stabilizing various CW laser technologies and performing commissioning and maintenance at customer and partner sites. Candidates must possess a degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering and expertise in laser technology, photonics, or control electronics, particularly in stabilizing high-stability optical components. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field (PhD preferred)

Experience

  • Professional experience in laser technology, photonics, or control and regulation electronics
  • Expertise in the stabilization of continuous-wave lasers, frequency combs, or highly stable optical resonators
  • Professional experience in structured, precise, solution- and customer-oriented work
