Job Summary

The Albstadtwerke GmbH, a local utility company specializing in electricity, gas, water, and heating, is seeking a Power Grid Planner to ensure the secure and sustainable power supply for Albstadt and its surrounding area. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the fundamental and target network planning of the power supply grids. Day-to-day tasks involve performing complex network calculations to develop expansion concepts, creating detailed network expansion plans, and estimating costs for business planning. You will also manage the fundamental planning of construction projects in power supply and ensure the medium- to long-term stability of the grid. Key qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, professional experience in power grid calculation, and familiarity with relevant technical and legal regulations. Experience with Power Factory software and English language skills are advantageous, making this an excellent opportunity for an electrical engineer focused on essential infrastructure planning.
