Job Summary

The University Hospital Regensburg is seeking a dedicated Medical Physics Expert to join the Clinic and Polyclinic for Radiation Therapy starting July 1, 2026. This full-time, permanent role involves critical responsibilities in ensuring the highest standards of radiation safety and treatment quality. Day-to-day tasks include acting as a Radiation Protection Officer for the physical-technical aspects of radiation therapy, conducting physical treatment planning, and managing the quality assurance and dosimetry of medical devices. The expert will also be responsible for commissioning new equipment, implementing cutting-edge radiation techniques, and performing risk analyses. This position is ideal for a highly responsible and independent professional with expertise in teletherapy, offering the chance to work in a dynamic environment combining medicine, science, research, and teaching, supported by an attractive public sector compensation package (TV-L).
