Job Summary

The Munich Quantum Valley (MQV) gGmbH is seeking a Scientific Program Lead to coordinate and strategically steer critical research and development programs focused on quantum computing platforms, including superconducting qubits and neutral atoms, high-performance computing systems, and quantum algorithms. This role requires aligning research directions with scientific advisors, managing complex consortia, and closely monitoring progress through site visits to ensure the achievement of technological milestones. The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree in Natural Sciences with specialization in Quantum Information Processing and possess several years of experience in experimental, theoretical, or computational quantum science. Key responsibilities also include documenting progress, supporting strategic positioning in state/federal/European projects, and assisting with grant applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the highly dynamic quantum computing landscape in Munich, working within a curiosity-driven, international R&D environment.

Required Skills

Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Natural Sciences (Specialization in Quantum Information Processing)

Experience
