Project Manager, In Vitro Assay Development and Validation | Biologe (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive the development, qualification, and validation of cell-based bioassays within a rigorous Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment at a leading contract research organization specializing in drug development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of assays, including planning, execution, evaluation, and comprehensive GMP-compliant documentation. Key daily tasks involve reviewing raw data, creating development reports, drafting and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and coordinating lab workflows, including training and supervising lab technicians. This position requires a strong background in molecular biology, extensive practical experience with sterile techniques and cell-based assays, and proven expertise in method validation according to international guidelines (ICH, USP, EP). The role is ideal for a highly motivated scientist with excellent German and English communication skills who thrives in a quality-focused, fast-paced environment dedicated to accelerating innovative drug discovery.
