This role seeks a skilled PLC Automation Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning control systems for specialized machinery. Day-to-day tasks involve creating bespoke PLC programs and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) surfaces, developing innovative technical concepts for control systems, and ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards. A core part of the job is adapting existing software modules and integrating new control functions, culminating in performing on-site commissioning at client locations. The ideal candidate must have a completed qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, coupled with practical experience in PLC and HMI programming using tools like S7-TIA, Codesys, or WinCC.
