Job Summary
This role within Siemens Mobility's Expert House focuses on the commissioning and maintenance of cutting-edge rail vehicle systems, including new generations of battery and hydrogen-powered trains. The Commissioning Engineer will independently execute commissioning tasks, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and carry out electrical and mechanical modifications on trains, followed by re-commissioning. A key part of the job involves supporting complex fault analysis and troubleshooting using innovative IT systems. This position offers extensive professional development through comprehensive training and targeted further education, making the incumbent an expert in future rail technology. The role requires significant international travel to railway depots and partner workshops worldwide, offering varied experience and strong career growth opportunities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the electro-technical field OR State-certified Technician qualification (Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics)
