This role involves managing the end-to-end fault resolution process for the entire vehicle within series production support. The Vehicle Fault Manager will be responsible for coordinating and analyzing specific test drives, ensuring systematic fault analysis and elimination, and maintaining the fault database. Key day-to-day tasks include creating and tracking fault reports, prioritizing issues, and leading fault management meetings to drive resolution. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification, coupled with professional knowledge of fault resolution or quality processes. Proficiency in German and English is mandatory, along with familiarity with specific industry tools like ZEUS, StarC, Jira, and Confluence.
