Job Summary

This permanent position as a PLC Programmer in Mannheim offers qualified professionals the opportunity to drive product development from initial concept through to series production within a dynamic, international engineering team. Key responsibilities include creating detailed software concepts and modules for complex palletizing and robotic systems, managing development projects (planning, execution, documentation), and ensuring technical functions align across mechatronic, electrical, and software requirements. You will also be involved in setting up and conducting test facilities, evaluating results, and supporting on-site commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or Technician qualification in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science) and possesses solid experience in PLC programming, specifically utilizing Siemens TIA Portal. Knowledge of Safety Integrated, CIP Safety, and Rockwell Studio is essential.
