Job Summary

This role involves acting as a central IT consultant and system expert for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within a leading global pharmaceutical service provider. The consultant will advise specialist departments across the entire MES lifecycle, from implementation and operation to support and change management. Key responsibilities include supporting the digitalization and automation of production processes, evaluating relevant technologies and market trends in the MES environment, and analyzing business needs to derive functional IT requirements. A core focus is designing integrated technical solutions, considering architectural principles, regulatory guidelines, and economic objectives, particularly concerning adjacent systems like SAP, PLM, and ERP. The ideal candidate brings a degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science, professional experience with MES (ideally PAS X), and strong process knowledge in pharmaceutical production.
