Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role as an Electrical Commissioning Technician focuses on the rail vehicle manufacturing sector in Kassel, involving significant domestic and international travel, primarily across Europe. The core responsibilities include the commissioning and optimization of rail vehicles, conducting critical type tests, and providing essential engineering and homologation support. Day-to-day tasks involve operational and warranty support for the vehicles, creating detailed documentation for final inspections, and collaborating on the development of test specifications and instructions. Candidates must possess a completed electrical engineering qualification, such as an Electrical Commissioning Technician or an Electronics Technician for Machinery and Drive Technology, coupled with practical experience in rail transport technology and working specifically with locomotives.
