Job Summary

This role involves contributing specialized expertise to patient-oriented diagnostics within a leading medical-diagnostic service provider in Hannover. The Scientific Associate will be responsible for generating reports in molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics, directly influencing individual therapy design. Key daily tasks include analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data and other somatic genetics and Liquid Biopsy analyses, integrating this expertise into routine diagnostics, and optimizing NGS evaluation pipelines. Candidates must hold a degree in Biology or a comparable natural science field, ideally possess experience in oncological or molecular pathological diagnostics, and be proficient in molecular biology and genetic procedures, especially NGS.
