Job Summary
This two-year fixed-term, full-time position as Energy Manager involves spearheading the implementation of a municipal energy management system (EMS) funded by a grant. The role is central to the city's climate protection efforts, requiring the professional to manage the EMS project, conduct energy assessments of municipal properties and technical systems, and generate comprehensive energy reports monitoring the consumption of heat, electricity, fuel, and water. Key responsibilities also include leading the Energy Team, contributing to energy efficiency renovation concepts, managing utility procurement (electricity and other energy sources), and overseeing street lighting documentation. The ideal candidate must possess a technical background in fields like Electrical Engineering or Building Services, coupled with professional experience in energy efficiency and climate protection. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Technical Building Infrastructure, HVAC, Energy and Climate Protection, Real Estate Management, or comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy efficiency, renewable energies, and climate protection (highly valued)
- Experience with GIS systems and other relevant professional software solutions
