Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Psychology or related science student seeking practical, supervised experience in clinical psychological diagnostics. As a Student Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting standardized test psychological procedures with adult patients (aged 18+) suffering from severe or chronic mental impairments in psychiatric outpatient clinics (PIA) across Rockenhausen, Kaiserslautern, or Kusel. Your daily tasks will involve administering various tests for conditions like adult ADHD (e.g., HASE, DIVA), cognitive function (e.g., COGBAT), intelligence (e.g., WMT-2), and dementia (e.g., CERAD). You will manage patient appointments, accurately document test results, write comprehensive reports, and communicate findings directly to the treating clinicians. This part-time position (approx. 5 hours/week) offers valuable hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced Psychological Psychotherapists, and a public sector contract (TVöD VKA), with the potential for extension until the completion of your Master’s degree.
