This role seeks a Senior Applications Engineer to serve as a hardware specialist, primarily based at the HERMLE USA headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. The core responsibilities involve performing time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations, alongside programming complex multi-axis applications using various CAM systems. You will be instrumental in reviewing the technical feasibility of RFQs and turnkey projects, developing leading machining processes, and providing crucial application support both in-house and directly at customer sites. A key requirement is a BS Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience, coupled with 8-10 years of professional experience in machining, programming, and processing complex parts. Expertise in 5-axis machining and control knowledge of Heidenhain/Siemens systems are essential.
