Job Summary
This role is ideal for a highly practical Laser Physicist or Systems Engineer focused on the production, assembly, and commissioning of state-of-the-art, ultrafast, tunable infrared laser systems. Based in Stuttgart, you will be responsible for the integration of optical, optomechanical, and electronic components, performing final tests, and preparing systems for global shipment. A significant part of the job involves customer-facing activities, including installation, commissioning, technical service, and troubleshooting of installed systems worldwide. You will also contribute to the optimization of existing systems based on field experience and participate in R&D efforts for new developments. Success requires a university degree in Physics or Photonics, strong expertise in optics and laser technology, and a structured, reliable approach to both production and service tasks. This position offers a long-term perspective within a growing deep-tech company, providing diverse responsibilities ranging from lab work and production to occasional customer deployments.

Experience
- Practical experience with optical or laser-based systems
- Experience with solid-state, fiber, or OPO systems (Optional)
